A number of sisters have emailed me asking about this book,and if the author is muslim and so forth. The author's name is Beth Johnson and she is not muslim the book is about three true stories on how reading changed their life. One of the women in the book that she wrote about was my Aunt Retired Police Officer JuliaMae Burney/ Witherspoon. My Aunt started a reading program called CopsNKids in Wisconsin she appeared on the Oprah show the today show and been in a few magazines.
